Golden Ruler For Agents

I am pleased to announce the launch of The Golden Ruler for CENTURY 21 Sales Professionals!
Previously only available at the broker level, on November 30, 2010, The Golden Ruler will be available to all CENTURY 21 Sales Professionals.  This great marketing tool provides you with insights that you can use for current and prospective sellers.  For current listings, you will be able to easily show your homeowner how their listing is being received online by the number of views, visits and leads generated from potential buyers.  CENTURY 21 listings are syndicated to over 500 real estate and aggregator Web sites to ensure that, no matter where home buyers are shopping, they will always find your listing.  The Golden Ruler provides detailed metrics on the number of views, visits and leads for all your residential listings.
The Golden Ruler also provides you with a simple and fast Online Marketing Summary flyer so you can communicate and update your Sellers on their properties’ performance with online real estate shoppers.  Accessing The Golden Ruler is easy.  Simply logon to 21Online.com, and click either your “REPORTS” link in the upper right hand corner of your homepage or find “The Golden Ruler” link within your “TOOLS LIBRARY.”

Realtor uses QR codes to market

The QR code has come to the real estate industry.

QR codes can be scanned by smartphones and some cell phones with cameras to access information. In the case of residential real estate, agents can use the technology to better market their listings or their business.

QR codes, or tags, look different from the straight lined UPC code but the concept is the same. A scanner transmits information about a product. In this case, a real estate agent can put a QR code on a sales sign. A potential buyer scans the code with a smartphone and the information about the listing shows up on the smart phone.

No more flyers or empty flyer boxes.

The agent can also put a QR code on a business card which when scanned takes potential customers to the agent’s web site.

“I think I’m one of the first people to use the technology,” said Suzanne Gammage, owner of Tempe-based Gammage Realty Group.

She began talking with a marketer this summer and had signs out in early October.

She’s already gotten some action from her high tech marketing activity, including an inquiry from another agent.

“He was excited and thought it was really cool. He downloaded the information and called me to see if there was a real person to connect with it. Guess what? I answered the phone,” Gammage said.

The technology really took off at the National Association of Realtor annual convention in New Orleans in November.
